PLASTIC : SHOULD BE BANNED OR NOT ?
PLASTIC : AN ENVIRONMENTAL ISSUE

Plastic is substance which has taken its position in our lives, from beginning, toothbrush of plastic to the ending with use of toothbrush, plastic is used by us in different shapes and different purposes.
We all know, anything in this world, rather it be living or non-living has boon and bane, and Plastic has too.
Plastic was invented in 1907 by Leo Bakeland in the form of Bakelite. Plastic has become very integral part of our lives and can't be neglected, but yes, it can be reduced.
For Plastic:
Do you know, that syringe of needles are made up of plastics, we cannot repeat the same needle syringe for same patients, because, the same syringe can pass on germs on each and everyone. Plastic is used for convenience.
We all know that plastic is lightweight, it is used in various air-bus that reduces weight of the aircraft, therefore reduces the fuel use to carry aircraft + passengers.
Packaging of material is done by Plastic because it reduces weight , what if we use any metal instead plastic? No you can't because metal is much costlier than plastic.
Renewable energies like turbines, solar panels, rotors, are made up of lightweight plastics are due to its durability and aerodynamic shape molding.
Can you just leave wiring open without any insulating material covered on it? huh? No we use plastic to cover it, and also act as an insulator of heat and electricity.
We use mechanical pencils and pen made up of plastic in alternative of wooded pencils, so that a tree is saved.
AGAINST PLASTIC :
Dumping of plastic has become very difficult, you cannot dump it in land, causing land degradation; cannot be dumped into water, it will kill marine life, or burning it in air, releases harmful gases.
Plastics are everywhere, the microplastics are found in soft drinks, and our body too.They harm us on long term, and weaken our immunity system.
Recycling of plastics in sayings is easier than in actions, but is much difficult to do it.
Plastic is a material which can sustain under less pressure and temperature, and then oceanic resources are then contaminated.
Throwing of plastic bags in to drainage system cause clogging and then, make the area flooded. Even throwing of food into plastic bags in or out of the dustbins, animal in search of food eat the whole food with plastic bag, they are nor educated neither they have any sense, whether it is good to eat or not.
We have alternatives in plastic bags, that we can use cloth bags, so that single-use plastic bag use is reduced.
RECYCLING IT :
Collect all plastic bottles, and cut a rectangle from its cylindrical part and cover it with soil and grow plants in there.

CONCLUSION:
As we know that plastic has become very essential component of our life, to completely eradicate it, is very much difficult. We have just only one way left, that is to spread awareness about correct use of plastic. Off course the uses of plastics are uncountable due to its versatility, but reductions can be applied.
Every country have some poor people right? If a country bans plastic, the people who earn money from collecting plastics and selling them to recycling factories, from where these people get their income from.
Banning of Plastics makes huge impact on many industries like, packaging industries, manufacturing of instrument used in renewable energy generations, cooking appliances industries, etc.
People should be educated about its ill way of using it, not only students have to learn this in their syllabus but this should be applied to their practical life.
Sunday is day of outing, we go to malls and restaurants where we order many things, and buy things, these things are mostly carried through plastic cans and bags respectively. Do you ever thought after your use ,when you throw it, where these plastics bags go? "No, why do we care, its work of those people who clean that area, its burden of that people, if they do burn it, dump it or to recycle it", its non of our business right? We live on a same planet and do we have to bother what happens to next generations in upcoming years?. This attitude has to be changed.
People have to understand and take the initiative of using plastic very carefully! We don't have alternative of mother other Earth!!!Plastic should not be banned but uses must be monitored very carefully.
